Financial Management System – Office Manager:
SEDFA supported Sila Private Health Care by implementing the Office Manager Financial Management System. This intervention significantly improved the clinic’s financial controls by automating bookkeeping processes, enhancing record-keeping accuracy, and enabling real-time monitoring of income, expenses, and cash flow. The system strengthened compliance with tax and statutory reporting requirements and reduced the risk of financial mismanagement. In addition, staff received training on the effective use of the system, ensuring sustainability and empowering the business owner to make informed, data-driven decisions to support growth and operational efficiency.
Access to funding:
Through SEDFA’s Asset Assist Programme, Sila Private Health Care received funding amounting to R227,695.50 for the procurement of critical medical and aesthetic equipment. The funded assets included an Autoclave Steam Sterilizer, a 2-in-1 Diode Laser Hair Removal Machine, a 7-in-1 Hydrafacial Machine, a 7-in-1 Cryolipolysis Fat Freeze and Cavitation Machine, as well as Ultrasound, RF, Vacuum, and Laser Lipo Pads. This investment enabled the clinic to expand its service offerings, improve service quality, increase patient capacity, and diversify revenue streams.
Mentorship and Coaching Programme:
SEDFA, in partnership with Basic Needs Assessments NPC, provided mentorship and coaching support to Sila Private Health Care over a six-month period. The programme focused on business compliance, basic costing and pricing, financial management, and overall business management. This intervention strengthened the owner’s managerial capabilities, improved operational planning, and enhanced the clinic’s long-term sustainability and readiness for further growth.
Promotional Materials:
