The client approached SEDFA City of Cape Town Branch for assistance in her business. She was introduced to one of the Business Advisors, who conducted a Small Business Assessment (SBAT). The SBAT aimed to assist the business in identifying its strengths and weaknesses and to assist in how best to improve competitiveness, as well as to gain an adequate market share. The assessment assisted the business to make accurate, realistic goals on all aspects of the business to address the shortcomings to identified challenges.
The following intervention was implemented:

Facilitated access to equipment through the Informal and Micro Enterprise Development Programme (IMEDP).
